20-30: View from the cockpit in Shotley this morning - different from industrial Lowestoft and the wonderful anchorages in North Norfolk last week.This looks as if it will be a good and safe place to leave the boat for a few days. I spent the day doing boaty-things, including moving to another pontoon, scubbing the deck (a bit) and getting various bus and ferry timetables. The cappuchino in the on-site bar is the best I have had outside London - so plenty of potential - - .
